फिल्मों में बरसात का चित्रांकन पैसे, समय व तकनीक के लिहाज से सदैव चुनौतीपूर्ण कार्य रहा है, असली बरसात में गाना या दृश्य फिल्माना तकनीकी दृष्टिकोण से मुश्किल रहा है चुनांचे फिल्म वाले इसके लिए कृत्रिम बारिश करवाते हैं, पर भोजपुरी निर्माताओं के लिए यह मशीनी बारिश करवाना इतना आसान नहीं क्योंकि इसमें काफी पैसे, समय व तकनीक की जरूरत होती है और हिंदी फिल्मों की तरह यहां धन भी कम ही बरसता है, संभवत: इसीलिए भोजपुरी फिल्मों में भी गिने-चुने बारिश के गीत या दृश्य हैं, पर इनमें से भी कुछ गाने तो अद्भुत बन पड़े हैं जो मन में कोमल भाव जगाने के लिए काफी हैं
भोजपुरी िफल्मों में भी बरसात रोमांटिक क्षणों का सृजन करने में मददगार साबित हुई है। हालांकि बरसात का समय भोजपुरी इलाकों में धान-रोपने का होता है। धान रोपती हुई महिलाएं बरसात में भीग-भीगकर गीत गाती हैं। मगर वह फसल और खेती के गीत होते हैं उनमें भी चुहलबाजी होती है। लेकिन बरसात केदृश्य में अगर दो प्रेमी-प्रेमिका या हीरो-हीरोइन न हों तो दर्शकों को मजा नहीं आता है।
भोजपुरी फिल्मों में वैसा कोई चित्र बरसात का उभर कर नजर नहीं आता है जो राज कपूर-नरगिस की याद दिला दे। छतरी के नीचे का वह सीन हिंदी फिल्मों में बरसात का प्रतीक बन गया है। जब भी बारिश की चर्चा होती है तो गाने एक से एक याद आते हैं लेकिन चित्र एक ही वही सामने आता है।
बरसात की रीयल शूटिंग करना एक महंगा सौदा होता है। हिंदी में भी रीयल बरसात कम ही होती हैं, सेट लगाकर बारिश कराई जाती है। भोजपुरी को बजट केहिसाब से और भी सस्ते में काम निकालना होता है। हैरी फर्नांडीज निर्देशित फिल्म ‘विधाता’ में निरहुआ और पाखी पर एक गाना फिल्माया गया है जो बहुत रोमांटिक है। दोनों शादी के बाद हनीमून मनाने जाते हैं। वहां वे बरसात में भीगते हुए गाते हैं- ‘दलनियां में सरिया बिछाए लऽधनियां…’। इसी तरह रवि सिन्हा निर्देशित फिल्म ‘देवर जी’ में एक गाना ‘बरसात हो गईल…’ रिंकू घोष और कृष्णा अभिषेक पर फिल्माया गया था। बरसात केकाफी गाने हैं भोजपुरी फिल्मों में, लेकिन भोजपुरी श्रोताओं और दर्शकों को दिमाग पर जोर डालकर याद कराना पड़ता है। कुछ गाने जो उन्हें आसानी से याद आते हैं उनमें मधुकर आनंद का संगीतबध्द गाना ‘चुनरी भीगल चोली भीगल भीगे रे जुल्मी जवानी…।’ काफी चर्चित हुआ। यह गाना ‘देश में लौटल परदेसी’ में फिल्माया गया था। धनंजय मिश्रा केसंगीतबध्द फिल्मों में बरसात के काफी गाने हैं उनमें ‘पंडित’ का गाना ‘बरखा बरस रहल बा तू छोड़ के ना जा…’, काफी लोकप्रिय है। इधर मंजुल ठाकुर निर्देशित फिल्म ‘आवऽना ओढ़ा दी ओढ़निया ए राजा जी’ का बरसात में फिल्माया गाना काफी पसंद किया गया। ‘आज रिमझिम रिमझिम बरसा’, आज हम खूब करब मनमानी…’ यह गाना फिल्म की हीरोइन शिखा और हीरो हितेन्दु पर फिल्माया गाना था। के. डी. गाजीपुरी लिखित एक गाना ‘ए ही बरखा में किस्मत संवर जाए दऽ, आज हमके आपन दिल में उतर जाए दऽ…’ गाना भी खूब बजा और इस गाने का वीडियो भी खासा लोकप्रिय हुआ।
